About OJSC AZOT.

The Cherkassy Open Joint-Stock company "Azot" - is one of the largest enterprises in Ukraine manufacturing mineral fertilizers, ion-exchange resins, caprolactam and other chemical products. Its construction began in 1962, and on March 14, 1965 there was produced the first ammonia.

Today ОJSC "Azot" consists of 43 industrial structural divisions, which are located on the area of 500 hectares. The Joint-Stock company currently employs more than 6 thousand.people At full production capacities the enterprises manufactures about 3 millions tons of mineral fertilizers per year. Now one third of all fertilizers in Ukraine is produced in ОJSC "Azot".

The quality of all kinds of production meets the national and international standards of quality, that is proved by the received awards and certificates. By all criteria our production completely satisfies our buyers - agricultural workers of Ukraine, European and CIS countries.

ОJSC "Azot" is the largest manufacturer of ion-exchange resins in CIS, monopolist on manufacture of caprolactam in Ukraine. The regular activity of ОJSC in the world markets allows it also to have stable selling of fertilizers in the countries of Europe, Asia, America. The farmers of Slovakia, Hungary, Bulgaria, France, Ireland, Germany, China maintain the high productivity of soils with the help of the Cherkassy chemists.

The effective work of the enterprise directly depends on an effective system of management, from activity of the managers of different levels, first of all from the Board of Directors of Joint-Stock company. The Head of the Board of ОJSC "Azot" is Boris Sergeevich Raykov - the academician of National academy of sciences of Ukraine, the president of regional branch of the Ukrainian Union of Industrialists and Businessmen.
